Camping Il Poggetto is a holiday park in the bed of Tuscany, situated 15 km southeast from Florence in the middle of green hills, vine and olive yards, in the famous Chianti Territory.

Then go to our great restaurant on the camping for the Tuscan Steak Fiorentina, or a delicious pizza at del Pizzaiolo, visited also by a high number of Italian locals! (Take away service as well). Relax in the pool (included in the price), horseback riding through the Tuscan hills, wine tasting at the Chianti Bottega nearby; enjoy the country life! Check-in time until 23.00 hours, after this time the reception is closed. For cancellations or modifications; you have to inform us 24 hours before the date of your arrival. In the case that you do not arrive without informing us, or you cancel too late, a one night charge will be taken from your credit card. Furthermore during your check-in it?s obligatory to pay the full balance of your reservation, even if you decide to stay less nights than what you booked.

How to find us if you arrive in Florence by bus or by train:
BY BUS
(stops right in front of the camping): At Central Station SMN, go out of the building towards Piazza Stazione. On the other side of the square is an alley coming out (on your right) named Via S. Caterina da Siena, located the Sita Bus Company. Go to gate N° 10 and ask for the bus direction San Donato in Collina / Incisa and ask the bus driver to stop in front of the camping, after the village Cellai.
LAST BUS 21,00 HOURS, OUTSIDE WAITING IN VIA ALAMANNI.
ON SUNDAY LAST BUS 19,35 HOURS, INSIDE THE BUILDING.

BY TRAIN:
from the central station SMN in Florence take the regional train direction AREZZO. Exit at RIGNANO SULL'ARNO (about 30 minutes). Last train is departing 21.24 hours (not in August)and has number 6719. Distance Rignano - camping 6 km, call the reception for a PICK-UP (important before 21.00 hours). Price pick-up: for who arrives before 21.30 hours at Rignano: ? 6,00 a person, after this time ? 8,00 a person.

By Car: take the motorway A1 direction Rome, exit in Incisa Valdarno, turn to the right direction Florence (SS 69), and after 4 km to the left, following "PIAN DELL 'ISOLA. At the end of the street again left and continue until you arrive at Burchio. Turn right and after the village Le Valli (circa 5 km) , the camping is on the left.
